Las Terrazas is a small village in western Cuba. The area was designated as Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1984. You can do some trekking if you wish and stay in quiet area.
Viñales valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the karst landscape and traditional agriculture. In the Viñales village probably most of the income is from tourism.

Our rented car, an almost new Renault Scala. Before renting it most people were saying the cars are very old and you must take care of what you get. Looking at the other tourist cars that we met in the country it seems that many of them have been recently replaced.
