Mulu National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo. It is famous for its caves and limestone karst formations. Most activities are guided but you go in small groups and the number of people doing one activity each day is limited. You never feel in a tourist zoo unlike many other places.

We never considered booking to be a must in SE Asia except for big cities. This proved to be a mistake as the Park HQ was full and we took the first place open outside the park. Very basic, electricity only 3 hours a day and the bathroom shared with the family.
